Chien grids

Chien grids were developed for the transfer of a number of individual sections or ribbons of sections on to another TEM grid. Two slits in the rim area of the grid can easily be bent at an angle with fine tweezers to make a handling tab to keep the remainder of the grid surface flat prior to picking up ribbons.
