Staining

  • QUANTOM Total staining dye permeates both Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria
  • QUANTOM Viable staining dye efficiently labels only viable cells

Loading and Immobilisation

  • Stained cells are mixed with the included loading dye
  • Samples are then loaded into the QUANTOM slides using a pipette
  • Up to 8 slides at a time can then be spun in the QUANTOM Centrifuge to uniformly distribute cells across the slide

Counting

  • The QUANTOM TX captures multiple fields of view from the slide
  • Sophisticated counting and declustering algorithms enable single bacterium detection in a range of morphologies and clump formations

Data Handling
