Silver coated microscope slides and coverslips
Nano-Tec silver coated microscope slides and coverslips are designed for microscopy, AFM / SPM, nanotechnology, reflectometry and optical applications. They are also useful as opaque light microscopy supports or silver coated substrates for experiments. Borofloat 33 microscope slides and coverslips are pre-cleaned prior  to coating and then coated with gold (Ag) over an adhesion layer of titanium (Ti). Both Ti and Ag are deposited in a dedicated high vacuum deposition system fitted with electron beam evaporation sources.
Available in four silver coating thicknesses: 10nm, 50nm, 100nm and 500nm Ag. The silver coating is not atomically flat and there are height differences in the nanometre range.
The microscope slides are packed in a slide mailer and the coverslips are packed in a GEL-Pak box.
