DiATOME static line ioniser

For cryosectioning and cryotrimming, particularly of  materials specimens, the use of an ioniser is essential. The DiATOME Static Line II ioniser is an anti-static  device which produces negative and positive ions which neutralise electrostatic charging in the cryo chamber. Using StaticLine II helps prevent  sections sticking to the knife edge or collecting on top of each other, This  allows ribbons to float cleanly over the knife surface, allowing easy pick-up of sections.
