1 – EM-Tec JV40 and JV41 stage adaptor kits for the JEOL NeoScope series table top SEMs (images and ordering information)

EM-Tec JV41 stage adaptor kit is fully compatible with the standard X/Y stage of the JEOL NeoScope JCM7000. With the JV41 stage adaptor, many of the EM-Tec SEM specimen holders with M4 threaded hole can be used on the JEOL NeoScope JCM7000. The JV41 stage adaptor height can be adjusted from 15 to 49mm. It consists of the following parts:

• Stage adaptor plate with female M6 thread
• Brass stage adaptor pillars (adjustable height 15-49mm) with male M6 thread and M4 screw on topAaluminium M6 locking ring.

EM-Tec JV40 stage adaptor kit is fully compatible with the standard X/Y stage of the JEOL NeoScope JCM-6000plus, JCM-6000 and JCM-5000 table top SEMs. With the  JV40 stage adaptor, a vast range of SEM specimen holders can be used on the JEOL NeoScope, offering improved specimen handling and access to the wide range of EM-Tec versatile specimen holders. It consists three parts:

• Stage adaptor discs insert with female M6 thread
• Brass stage adaptor pillar (adjustable height) with male M6 thread and M4 screw on top
• Aluminium M6 locking ring.

It replaces the standard JEOL NeoScope SEM stage adaptor as a drop in style replacement.  The top of the adjustable height pillar includes an M4 screw. Fully compatible with all EM-Tec SEM SEM specimen holders with M4 threaded holes.

EM-Tec specimen holders with M4 threaded hole are fully compatible with JEOL NeoScope table top SEMs using  the JV-40 stage adaptor and fit within the stage travel limits and maximum available height. With EM-Tec holders, tilt can be added to the specimen movements. EM-Tec specimen holders enable quick and secure holding of SEM specimens without the use of adhesives.

TEM-Tec S-Clips holders with spring-loaded specimen clips are compatible with the JEOL NeoScope series of  table top using the JV40 stage adaptor are:

•  Standard horizontal
•  45°  and 45° /90° SEM specimen stubs
• 90° SEM specimen stubs.

They are useful for holding thin specimens such as  silicon wafer chips, metal strips, plastic foils, etc.

4 – EM-Tec SEM specimen stubs for the JEOL NeoScope series table top SEMs (see the full range of JEOL cylinder stubs)

JEOL NeoScope series table top SEMs mostly use 25mm JEOL stubs. These are also used on the optionally available tilt/rotation SEM stage. When using EM-Tec SEM specimen holders,  standard JEOL 9.5, 12.2, 25 and 32mm SEM stubs can be used as well. Currently available JEOL SEM stubs for JEOL NeoScope JCM-6000plus, JCM6000 and JCM-5000 are:

• Standard flat JEOL cylinder stubs with the popular 25, 9.5, 12.2 and 32mm diameters. Available with heights of 5mm and 10mm.
• Angled JEOL cylinder stubs with 45°, 45/90° and 90° pre-tilt surfaces.
• Dish-type SEM pin stub with 12.2mm diameter and recessed top for fluid specimens and solutions.

With EM-Tec SEM stub adaptors, you can use standard SEM pin stubs, Cambridge S4 stubs and Zeiss SEM pin stubs on the JEOL NeoScope series tabletop SEMs. JEOL stubs with M4 threaded base fit directly on the Tec JV-40 SEM stage adaptor and do not require an SEM stub adaptor. With a stub adaptor, there is no need to re-mount the specimen and so specimen integrity is maintained. Also useful for use with calibration standards which are be mounted on an SEM pin stub. Recommended SEM stub adaptors are:

EM-Tec H15P SEM stub adaptor with M4 thread to accept all standard and Zeiss type SEM pin stubs
EM-Tec HS4 adaptor with M4 thread to accept 32mm Cambridge S4 mounts.
